This is the photo I took using Lorelei, Allan and Charlie's hands holding objects to signify letters. I put it on the front of Steve's handmade Father's Day card. Happy Father's Day honey, we LOVE you!
We had a really busy Father's Day weekend. We headed out Saturday early afternoon to Pewamo. Steve had to work on his race bikes to get them ready for his track day next week. We also celebrated at a graduation party across the street from his parents (free dinner!). Lorelei and Allan were in heaven because they got to spend the night at Grandma George's house with Steve.
They stayed up late and caught fireflies. Lorelei actually catches them with her hands. Steve was in heaven because he got to work on bikes with his brudder. (Okay honey, I know it wasn't all fun and games.)
Father's Day morning Steve and I were lucky enough to attend church sans children (thanks Grandma). After church the entire George clan attended Elliana's baptism at St. Joe's in Pewamo. It was a beautiful day and we ate lunch outside on picnic tables at the George homestead. The cousins all played together and ate snow cones.
Later in the afternoon we headed to Westphalia to visit my Dad for Father's Day. We had grilled pizzas outside on the deck. The kids ran through the sprinkler all evening.
